Phillip Adair Graves , age 77 of Atlanta Georgia , died peacefully in his sleep at home with his daughters on Friday , April 23,2021 surrounded by love. Phillip is survived by his four children : Vickie Leigh of Tampa ; Michael Adair of Birmingham , Christine Suzanne (Dedra) of Lakeland Florida , and Ryan Brittin (Marian) of Trussville , Alabama. He also leaves behind four grandchildren : Mackenzie , Benjamin , Luke , and Andrew . Additionally , Phillip is survived by his two siblings : Suzanne Cohran (Jerry) of Canton Georgia who was his sister and best friend and his beloved brother Steve Graves (Evelyn) of Montgomery, Alabama . Phillip was also very close to his nieces Dee Marshall of Atlanta and Lisa Kuzmarski of Panama City ---as well as his great nieces Alexa Marshall and Bailey and Taylor Kuzmarski. Phillip loved his sole nephew - Heath Graves as well. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents whom he loved emphatically ; Azariah Joseph Graves Jr. and Ellen Marie Adair . Phillip will be remembered , not only for his large stature but by his infectious laughter and larger than life personality . He was loved by so many whose lives he impacted. He will be missed by many as well. Phillip had the kindest heart and a genuine spirit --- and was one who never met a stranger . Phillip loved people , he loved puppies , he loved the Lord, he loved music and dancing and he especially loved laughter and making others smile . Family and the Lord were paramount in his life and he served them both well and honorably. The family would like to recognize and give a special thanks to his daughter in law, Dedra Graves and close family friend Edd Taylor for their love and support in caring for Phillip this past year.

A Celebration of Phillip's Life will be held at The Available Worship church located at 3033 Wetumpka Hwy, Montgomery AL 36110 on June 3rd at 11 am. We are honored to have our close family friend, Matthew Parker, leading the celebration.
