Patricia Moon

Patricia Arlene Moon, 68, of Lakeland Florida, went home to Jesus on January 15, 2021 due to complications associated with Covid 19.

Patricia was born on December 15, 1952 to Gerald and Arlene Thomas in Odessa Texas.

In her final year of High School in Parkersburg West VA, she wed Mr. David Michael Shockey, going on to have four children, Debra Jean Marciano, Michael David Shockey, Steven Allen Shockey, and Sue Ann Perkins.

She met her husband, Kevin T. Moon in 1995 and went on to wed in July of 1996. There she came to love her 5 step children, namely, Jennifer Hutchison, Pearla Moon, Charlotte Moon, Kevin Moon Jr, and Karen Moon.

Patricia decided to dedicate her life to being a devoted and wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She excelled at propping up all members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Patricia was very passionate about Jesus and her family. She will always be loved and greatly missed. God has gained another beautiful angel.  

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Arlene Thomas. She is survived by her two sisters Cathy Skidmore and Betty Lane. Between her and her husband she has 28 grand kids and 6 great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial and celebration of life held at Gapway Baptist Church 1705 N Combee Road Lakeland Florida, on February 6, 2021 at 12 pm.
