It is with profound sadness that the family of Norman "Norm" Ballard
announces his passing on July 29th, 2021 at his home in Lakeland, Florida.
He was 68 years young.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Vicki Ballard of 20 years
as well as his 6 children; Barbara Ferron (Matt) of Kansas, Bobbi Ballard
of Michigan, Norman Ballard II (Michelle) of Michigan, William Ballard (Tabbi)
of Florida, Meagan Taylor (Ken) of Michigan, Breyana Ballard of Florida, as well
as several grandchildren. Sister: Leona Conn, Brothers: Clarence Ballard (Esther)
of California, Robert Ballard of Michigan, William Ballard (Anita) of Michigan, also:
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Beatrice Elmore; brothers, Clyde, Howard
and Martin Ballard as well as his parents, Edna Fuller and Erwin "Slim" Ballard.
Norm was born and raised in the Hartland/Fenton area of Michigan. He was drafted
into the Army in 1971 and spent 8 years in the Military. After leaving the Army he
worked at Lear Seating Corporation for 20+ years. Once retired he and his wife
moved to Florida to relax in the sunshine where he enjoyed deep-sea fishing and
having his pipe on the porch. Norm was larger than life. He brightened any room
that he walked into. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
