Nidia M. Vazquez was called to our heavenly father on Friday April, 30th 2021 at Saint Mary's Vitas Hospice Unit. She was born on March 19th, 1931 in Penuelas Puerto Rico to Francisco Rolon and Angelica Vazquez. She moved to Bronx , New York at an early age with her husband Miguel Quinones and children. After a few years she found her home in Waterbury , Connecticut where she lived most of her life when she wasnt traveling back and forth between Connecticut , Florida and Puerto rico . She was dedicated to her family , work and a loyal communicant at the Church of Santa Cecilia . She had a passion for cookies , ( and OMG she made the best relleno de papa / potato balls ). She also loved her latin music and dancing to it as well but most of all she absolutely loved to play bingo , sick or not if you mentioned BINGO she was ready to go play bingo " LOL" . To all who knew her , she was loved and like a grandma to everyone , even through she was known as " Mama Nidia " to everyone . She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Angelica , her son Miguel Quinones Jr., Son in law Wilfred Ramos and her sister Haydee Jusino . She is survived by her 3 daughters Nilda Saruis and Tilza Ramos from Lakeland ,Florida and Misdalia Quinones from Waterbury , Connecticut , son in law James Saruis from Lakeland ,Florida and her 4 sisters .
