Manjadiyil Samuel (Sam), 71 Lakeland,

M.V. (Sam) Samuel, 71, passed away on January 11, 2024, after struggling with respiratory and heart issues. He was surrounded by his wife and loving family who prayerfully comforted him in his passing to be with the Lord.  Sam had such a joy for life. He enjoyed good food, making people laugh and fellowship with friends. He had the best jokes and could easily make any person feel at ease.

He was born in Thiruvalla, India and immigrated to America in 1979. Sam was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He worked at the Publix warehouse in the bakery department for 19 years.  One of his proudest moments was becoming a U.S. citizen. Sam is survived by his wife, Rosamma.  His son, Anil and his wife, Jennifer.  His daughter Christine and her husband, Robin.  Shelby and his fiancée, Stacey.  He was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren: Madison, Julianna, Noah, and Samuel…and his beloved canine companion, Romeo.

A memorial service honoring Sam will be held Saturday, January 20th, 9:00 a.m. at India Pentecostal Church of Lakeland, FL. 

Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 19th at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to send flowers, please send them to “David Russell Funeral Home and Cremation” by Thursday, January 18th.
