Linda L. Salvatore

Linda L. Salvatore, of Lakeland, Florida and formally of Yonkers, NY passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2024, at the age of 76. Linda was born in Peekskill, NY on May 21, 1947, daughter of the late Joseph E. & Florence L. (Kennedy) Shuka. She graduated from Lady Cliff Academy (Mohegan Lake, NY) in 1965, and shortly thereafter attended hair dressing school.

Linda worked for the financial industry for over a decade as a sales assistant and office manager for various Brokerage firms in Westchester NY. In her spare time, Linda loved cooking and baking, where she was especially known for her holiday cheesecake. At Christmas, Linda especially enjoyed decorating for the holiday. In addition, she had enthusiastic love for dogs, raising various breeds during her life.

She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind a son, Dr. Ralph N. Salvatore, many nieces, cousins, and her two trusty King Charles Cavalier Spaniel companions, Lady, and Daisy. She was predeceased by her cherished brother Gary J. Shuka of Peekskill, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in her memory.
