Joseph Thomas Alford, Jr.

Joseph Thomas Alford Jr. 63, passed away June 3, 2021. He is proceeded in death by his mother and father, Gloria and Joseph Thomas Alford Sr. (Jake). He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline Black (Kenny) and Karen Davis (Brad), step sons Christopher Jackson and Michael Jackson (Shyanne). Grandchildren Brad Davis Jr, Haylee Davis, Sierra Howell, Jayden Alford, Alex Jackson, McKayla Jackson and great grandson Tuff Davis, His 3 sisters, Elaine, Lisa and Punkin. and many nieces and nephews. Joe helped his father with the family business Superior Stucco. He built Race cars. He’d have his kids in the field showing them stucco or at the shop teaching them about cars during the week by Saturday night at the Auburndale Speedway, during their younger years. There’s nothing he would not have done for his grandkids, nieces, nephews and family. He was a self made man, didn’t mind bending or breaking the rules. Loved to help others. Would let you fail, to help you succeed. He would sit back and watch you do it wrong. Then have you take apart so he could show you the right way. He was the baby of the family, a mama’s boy. He knew it and so did everyone else. He will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.
