Betty Jane (Despain) Williams

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Betty Jane Williams (granny) was called home to be with the lord Friday May 13,2022 ,she past peacefully in her home with her loving family. 

Betty will be lovingly remembered by her sister Glenda Pelts, her children Mary Sue Close and Norma Jean and her husband Larry Cecil Cribbs; her grandchildren Betty Lois Cribbs ,Cecilia Jean Rice, Scott Charles Close, Larry Cecil Cribbs Jr, and Ashley Lynn Close; her great grandchildren Samuel Rayburn Crain, Emma Close, Hailey Marie Crain, Maddison Leann Rice, Gavin Michael Eddins, McKenzie Jean Rice , and Xander Lee Rice. 

Betty was proceeded in death by her husband of 62 years Rayburn Williams; her parents James Despain and Altia Despain; brothers James Edward Despain, Jo Despain, John Albert Despain, Raymond Floyd Despain; sisters Edna Mae Despain, Mary Virginia Despain, Martha Ann Despain, Hazel Jean Despain, Dorthy Fay Despain.

Everyone who knew her called her granny, She was the glue that always held her family together. Betty was kind , loving, graceful, and most of all she lived to serve the lord.She will be missed deeply , it was truly an honor to have had her be apart of our lives.
