Sally Denmark Cauley

Mrs. Sally Denmark Cauley, age 81, formerly of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away on Thursday morning, May 31, 2018 at the Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland, Florida.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, GA with her son-in-law, Ed Kirkland, officiating.

Mrs. Cauley will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Cauley Family Cemetery, Treutlen County, GA.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

She was born in Kathleen, FL to the late William Brantley Denmark and Cora Lillian Hunter Denmark. She was a graduate of Kathleen High School and in 1954 married Treutlen County native, William D. “Bobby” Cauley. The Cauley’s lived in and raised their children in Lakeland, Florida until returning in 1999 to her husband’s childhood home of Swainsboro.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, making jellies and jams from handpicked fruits as well as her membership at Trinity Assembly of God.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 2011.

She is survived by their four children, Debbie Olson (Chris), Marietta, GA, Beverly Craig (Randy), Swainsboro, GA, Anita Kirkland (Ed), Lakeland, FL, David Cauley, Lakeland, FL, a sister, June Jenkins, Lake Placid, FL, grandchildren, Brant Hayes (Susanne), Carli Adams (Tim), Heather Howell (Chaz), Lil’ Randy Craig , Wesley Kirkland (Hilary), Brittani Plath (Chris), Ty Cauley, Garrett Cauley and thirteen great grandchildren.
