Peter Lancaster Obituary

Peter J. Lancaster, 66 of Lakeland, Florida, formerly Syracuse, New York, passed away 7/21/2019 peacefully in his home.

He is preceded by his father, James S. Lancaster, and is survived by his mother, Arlene K. (Sann) Lancaster of Syracuse, siblings Cathleen (Jack) Tierney, Joseph Lancaster, Thomas Lancaster, Mary (Steve) Dwyer, Theresa (Pierce) Law, Anne Lancaster, Ellen (Joe) Reed, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Peter’s humor, kindness, and unconditional love will be missed by all.

Peter was a graduate of West Hill High School and SUNY New Paltz.

Peter’s faith, family, and friendships were at the forefront of his time here on this Earth. He enjoyed motorcycles and fishing . He was a devout Catholic, attending St. Anthony’s in Lakeland, Florida.

Peter was a friend of Bill W. for years, a special thank you to his extended family in Lakeland, Florida.

A memorial service for Peter will be held at a future date.
