Passed away at her home on May 30, 2018. Marion was born November 18, 1950 in Winchester, VA. The daughter of Raymond Matthew Loy and Charlotte Adell Peer. She attended James Wood High School in Winchester, VA.

Marion is survived by a son, Larry L. Taylor, III and his wife Theresa of Bluemont, VA and a daughter, Anita L. Kerns and her husband Arthur of Winchester, VA. Mary was also survived by 4 grandchildren: Ashlee’ Elizabeth Taylor, Andrew Michael Dillow, Cody Scott Taylor and Bethani Alyse Taylor. She also has 9 great grandchildren and an additional great grandchild, which preceded her in death. She is survived by a brother, Lacy C. Loy of Winchester, VA and a sister, Debra Kay Loy of Lakeland, FL. Preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Elmer “Marty” Loy and Thomas William Loy.

Marion was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard and was known to have a green thumb when it came to her plants. She has many friends who she enjoyed playing cards with and entertaining. She was always known as a gentle soul who would lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. She will be missed terribly by her children, family and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be private. Mary’s wishes were in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
