Georgia Koenig, Age 75
Georgia Koenig passed away Wednesday Evening November 8th, 2017 from Emphysema. She battled her illness for over 25 years. Georgia was born in Niles, Michigan on May 21st, 1942 to George and Norma Northrup. Georgia devoted her life to her family and friends, raising her children as well as her grandchildren Shelly, Megan,, and Kyle Koenig full time. She was full of knowledge and not afraid to speak her opinion. She was a firework, stubborn, independent, and hard working, although she could come off as a stern woman, she would always give her last, forever putting others before herself especially her family. She enjoyed time with her Grand babies, reading, gardening, watching tv shows such as Criminal Minds and worrying about the news or weather. Georgia is survived by her five Children, eleven Grandchildren, and twenty six great Grandchildren. Georgia's memorial service will be held at David Russell Funeral Home November 14th, 2017, at 7pm.
