Francis Dateno Obituary

Frank Dateno, 86 of Lakeland Florida, passed away peacefully June 8, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Girardville, PA and resided in the Lakeland area for most of his life. Frank was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Angeline Dateno, his sisters Mary Cerio and Carmella Dateno and his brother William Dateno.

Frank was an avid golfer and a man who enjoyed life. He was a warm, generous and kind-hearted soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his son Daniel of Liverpool, NY, his sister Bernadine Dateno of Yorba Linda California, 9 nieces and nephews, Mark Cerio, John Cerio, Judi Cerio, George Dateno, Sister Maria Grace, Jenny White, Elizabeth Pilon, Sarah Kramer and Emily Costello along with 29 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were private through David Russell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery.
