David Lopez Sr

David Lopez Sr., of Lakeland, passed away in his home on Sunday, November 3rd.  He was 57.  

Born June 7, 1962, in Indiana, David was raised in Florida.  He became a certified mechanic and enjoyed working in the automotive industry.  David had a friendly, uplifting personality.  He enjoyed reading his bible, hosting garage sales and finding hidden treasures for his family, and valued family cookouts and gatherings.  David’s children were his pride and joy, and he cherished his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons David Lopez Jr. and Justin Lopez and daughter Emily Lopez; siblings, sisters Rosemary Flores (Pedro) and Lucy Parrish and brothers Manuel Lopez, Samuel Lopez and Raymond Lopez; his grandchildren, Yodaleen, Yoreliz, Yoideliz, Jayleen, Jenesis, and Justin Lopez Jr.; his nieces Celinda Flores and Daisy Lopez and nephews Pedro Flores Jr., Troy Flores, Sammy Lopez Jr., and Johnny Lopez, along with many great nieces and nephews.  

 A memorial service honoring David will be held at David Russell Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 5pm.
