Daniel A. Wajdik

Daniel "Danny" Wajdik was born in New York in 1945 and eventually moved to Winter Haven, Florida.

Danny, as he was affectionately called by his friends and family was best known for his love of sports, especially football and baseball, he knew every player on every team by name.  He was an absolute Florida Gator Fan. 

Danny's lifelong dream was to own a boat one day.  Danny loved people, was a caregiver for many of the residents at the Lake Howard complex where he lived until they eventually passed on, always willing to lend a hand to anyone and everyone.

Danny was actively involved with his church outreach for the homeless.  Danny was a Nazarene and he never failed to be at church on Sundays at 7:00 a.m. sharp. Danny worked in the kitchen every Wednesday evening serving the homeless community.  Danny knew this was his calling and he loved serving others, moreover those he served loved him.

Danny never failed to use an opportunity to be a servant, he always said "God will bless him in this service"

One of his best qualities is that he was energetic, on the go, and always doing something for someone.

Without a doubt, Danny will be missed by all who knew him.
