Cynthia Weldon Thompson passed away June 5th, 2019. She was a Florida native who started her long journey on August 22, 1949 in Lakeland, Fl. She is the daughter of Letha Mae Cotney and James Rudolph Weldon. As part of her journey she enjoyed her dream of owning a beauty salon and being a beautician following that with 37 successful years at H&R Block where she accomplished many achievements, where she met so many friends and extended family. She is survived by her fiance Mac Cain and her four children Tonja Weber, Donna Coffey, Glen Thompson, and Cynthia Siler. She was blessed with seven grandchildren Nikky Butts, Joseph Butts, Stephanie Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Devon Siler, and Troy Siler. This loving family made sure she was also blessed with ten great grandchildren. It is with a heavy heart we say bye to this amazing woman who walked into our lives and made such a lasting impact.
The viewing hours for family and friends will be from 10am-12pm June 10th, 2019. We will follow up with a silent burial at Oak Hill Cemetery at 12:30pm June 10th, 2019.
