Bonnie Dumont was born to James Gordon and Linda Lou Massey on March 14, 1966 in Lakeland, Florida. She was a lifetime resident of Lakeland.
After completing high school Bonnie became a Patient Care Technician in the health care industry.
Bonnie went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
Bonnie is preceded in her home going by her father.
Bonnie is succeeded in her home going by her husband Alfred, or as she called him her "toolman" whom she loved dearly. She is also succeeded by her mother, Linda Massey, two sisters, Cheryl Hall and Karla Lovering.
Above all else Bonnie was a family person, she loved her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family members. She leaves behind to carry on her legacy three children, Jamie Swainston, Justin Massey and Cody Degraffenreed. Two stepchildren, Kala Dumont and Kyle Dumont. Six grandchildren, Hayden, Tyler, Wyatt, Hannah, Peyton and Trinity. In addition she has two nephews, Joshua and Dylan Stinson and one niece, Graci Lovering.
Bonnie loved the mountains, horses, and just being outdoors. She was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan, but more than anything she loved God and her faith in Him was unmovable.
Bonnie will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Oak Hill Burial Park at 10:00.
