Amy Adams Obituary

Amy J. Adams was born in Sidney, Ohio on November 20, 1934. She passed away on January 3, 2019 in Lakeland, Florida.

 

Mrs. Adams is preceded in her passing by her husband of 42 years, Harry Adams. Further, she is preceded by her parents, her brother, Jerry Shawler, and three of her grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Adams is succeded in her passing by her children, Marcella Messer (Carl) of Alabama. Brian Adams, (Lakeland), Sheila Miller (Tim) (Mulberry), Wanda McLauchlin, (Lakeland), Patricia Adams (Lakeland), and son Derek Adams (Veronica) also of Lakeland, Florida. Amy is also suceeded in her passing by her brothers Marion Shawler (Virginia) and Donald Shawler (Ohio). Further she is succeded by three grandchildren and three step grandchildren. She had five great grandchildren and five step greatgrandchildren.

 

Mrs. Adams was known to be a strong and very courageous woman who was a devoted mother, loving wife, and she set the example for what a kind-hearted loving person should look like.

 

Mrs. Adams enjoyed sewing, dinning out, and being a committed caregiver to her late husband, Harry. In addition, she completely enjoyed listening to country music, especially Kenny Chesney and her favorite movie of all time, was Dirty Dancing which she watched as often as her schedule permitted.

 

The family will have a graveside service for Amy at Oakhill Burial Park, in Lakeland, Florida on January 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

 

Mrs. Adams will be missed dearly by friends and family alike.
