Mario Loik passed away September 13, 2016. He was born in Termini Imerese, Italy on 05/10/1933 and moved to Rochester, NY at the age of 12. He moved to Florida in 2004. Mario spent all of his adult life protecting others through his work in local, state, and federal law enforcement. He served in the Korean Conflict as a combat pilot and was awarded the Purple Heart, Navy Cross, Silver Star, and Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan. Mario is survived by his wife Patricia (Kennedy), his sons Larry and wife Sally, Michael and his wife Lori, Brian and his wife Wendy and daughter Maria and her husband Brian, along with five grandchildren. Mario's life will be celebrated September 24th at 11a.m. in the Lena Vista United Methodist Church, 690 Berkley Road, Auburndale, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lena Vista United Methodist Church.
